Rushcreek FC proudly wrapped up its inaugural Summer Camp, bringing together more than 75 young players for a week of learning, growth, and fun on the field. From the first whistle to the final day, campers embraced new challenges, built confidence, and created lasting memories alongside teammates, coaches, and volunteers.
Throughout the 3 days, players worked on technical skills, passing, dribbling, shooting, and small-sided games designed to encourage creativity, teamwork, and a love for the game. Our coaching staff and high school volunteers created a positive, energetic environment where every player—regardless of experience—had the opportunity to improve and enjoy the sport.
The week also reminded us that soccer is played in all kinds of conditions. After two warm, sunny days, campers finished the week with a session in the rain. Rather than slowing anyone down, it became one of the most memorable experiences of camp, with players embracing the opportunity to simply enjoy playing the game.
Rushcreek FC extends a heartfelt thank you to the many people who made our first Summer Camp possible. We are grateful to our volunteer coaches and high school student volunteers who dedicated their time and energy throughout the week. Their enthusiasm and leadership helped create an outstanding experience for every participant.
We would also like to thank Fairfield Fire & Protection, one of our Premier Sponsors, for providing their cooling tent during the week's hottest days. Their continued support helped ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for our players and families.
A special thank you goes to Kona Ice for stopping by on Wednesday and helping campers celebrate the final day with a well-earned treat.
Most importantly, thank you to every family who trusted Rushcreek FC with their young athletes this summer. Your support, encouragement, and belief in our mission continue to make opportunities like this possible.
As a young club, moments like these are especially meaningful. Our first Summer Camp was more than just a week of soccer—it was another step in building a club centered on player development, community, and a lifelong love of the game.
We can't wait to see everyone back on the field this fall.
Soccer is our platform. Growth is our purpose.
